This 1000 watt indoor remote Galaxy Electronic Ballast is used to operate high pressure sodium (HPS) and metal halide (MH) lamps for hydroponic growing. The electronic ballast saves 5-12% more energy than magnetic HID ballasts and has an efficient 99.9% power factor. It comes standard with a built-in short circuit protector and constant wattage output that makes lamp flickering a thing of the past. The rubber feet design reduces noise and cuts down on vibration, so it runs smoothly and quietly. The Galaxy Electronic Ballast comes with an 8-foot 120 volt power cord (240 power volt cords are sold separately).
